Whilst data-mining Craigslist, I’ve come across some posts that simply refuse to naturally fit into one of the clusters that have been generated, which roughly represent concepts such as ‘posts by a broker’, ‘brooklyn hipsters’, ‘financial district professionals’ and so on. After investigating, it turns out there’s no problems with my algorithms, some of these posts simply are one of a kind.
A few snippets are below, and a bunch are posted up in full on my Craigslist Hall of Fame.
